Foster is the author of the award-winning The Resurrection of Nat Turner, a novel that tells Turner’s story through the eyes of Harriet Beecher Stowe and a runaway slave named Will.

Foster’s revelations have been included in the the Resistance Exhibit at the National Museum of History and is part of the the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture featured on CBS’s 60 minutes .
